Your critique of natural rights is misguided. The "natural" necessarily means "from God", as God created nature. (This is the premise which launched the inquiries of many of the Enlightenment philosophers.) Thus, natural rights are a parallel to, for example, the laws of physics. God could and can violate the laws of physics, but this does not negate their existence. Again, you are right to say that we could not enforce such rights against God, but that does not mean that they are invalid to be enforced against other men. Finally, the "commands" that God has issued which affect our world are not limited to those in the Bible. It is also our responsibility and our pleasure to explore the universe into which He has placed us, in order to better understand His nature. Part of what we have found is the natural, God-granted rights He has embedded into our world.

Absolutely!!!!! This is a new blog and has little following right now and I could use your help promoting it and getting more followers. I believe the gospel and want to promote a message of truth. This site so far does not include my writings, only the works of scholars who have studied historical Biblical Christianity and who write so eloquently on so many topics. I also encourage you to write comments on posts. Thank you.
